Augustin (Augie) Melendez was appointed Chief Diversity and Community Affairs Officer and Director, Human Resources, Graphic Communications Group in January 2011. In the Diversity Officer role, Mr. Melendez is responsible for the integration and execution of Kodak’s global inclusion strategy. The Board of Directors elected him a corporate vice president in May 2011.
Since joining Kodak in 2000, Mr. Melendez has held multiple senior leadership roles in Human Resources. Prior to joining Kodak, he held senior human resources leadership roles for United Jersey Bank, the Rochester City School District, and for Paychex, Inc.
Mr. Melendez holds a B.S. in business administration and economics and a B.A. in speech and communications from Wagner College, as well as an M.S. in human resources and development from St. John Fisher College.
