Choose a digital image of the lucky couple and create a unique save the date magnet. With save the date cards like these, nobody’s going to be missing the big day!

What You'll Need:

  • KODAK Prints
  • Card Stock
  • Matching Envelopes
  • Stickers
  • Ribbon
  • Rubber Stamps
  • Adhesive
  • Self-adhesive magnet (rolls available at a hardware store)

How to Make it:

Create the message
First, cut alphabet letters out of colored cardstock to spell the SAVE THE DATE message, along with the numbers to indicate the month, day and year.

Take creative photos

Take photos of the couple holding the letters to spell each word.

Decorate the letters with geometric patterns cut from a coordinating color. Ribbons, buckles, buttons and other scrapbook embellishments can be added if desired.

Print the photos

Get great KODAK prints at home,  online , or at a store near you. If you want a square, trim the photo like shown. Attach the photos to a matted card and reiterate the important information with rubber stamps on a colored strip.

Add the magnetic strip
Attach a strip of self-adhesive magnet to the back so that the card can sit on the fridge as a constant reminder to save the date.

TIP: When making cards in bulk, here are a few tips to keep in mind. Rubber-stamping the message saves money, as one purchase will cover stamping all the cards, no matter how many you are making. Kodak's home printer lets you generate smaller pictures, print multiples, in several different sizes.
