Bring your sentiments to life

Surprise a loved one with a personalized card that they can proudly display.

What You'll Need:

  • a camera
  • a willing model
  • a flower (real or fake)
  • a printer
  • an 8.5" x 11" sheet of heavy stock paper
  • scissors
  • tape

How to Make it:

Take a picture

Using a plain background, direct your child to pose for you with an outstreched hand pretending that he/she is offering flowers.

TIP: give them a really small object to hold

Print the picture
Right align the picture to fit one-half of an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. Print the picture on heavy stock paper and fold in half to make a card.

Prepare the card
Cut a hole through the front of the card (through the fist). Make sure the hole is just big enough for the stem of the flower to go through.

Insert the flower
Insert the flower through the hole, tape it in place on the inside of the card. Write a cute note letting the recipient know how special they are. Stand the card prominently on a table or mantle.
