for ADOBE PhotoShop Software, the 4050 scanner sets the industry standard.
A dynamic range of 3.2 delivers image quality that puts this scanner in
the same league as more expensive, slower drum scanners. The 4050 scanner
can digitize images in formats from 35 mm to 4 x 5 inches (color negatives
and transparencies), from baseline (1024 x 1536 pixels) to high resolution
(4096 x 6144 pixels). It reads each format in red, green, and blue for
a maximum of 72 million pixels. Its cycle time is approximately one minute
at 2 x 3 K resolution, and about two minutes at 4 x 6 K resolution (depending
on film aspect ratio). It also features user-friendly software that allows
you to improve productivity. operator-selected film terms, enabling greater
customization.
