Note: These menus may vary, depending on the application software being used. The MPOWER Driver offers the options described in this section . Other options you see in windows are being presented from your application software. To learn more about those printing functions, consult the documentation for that application. Print ModeThe print mode defines the resolution of the printed page. One aspect of resolution is how sharp the image prints. Resolution is stated in terms of dots per inch or DPI. The higher the resolution, (the larger the number of Dots-Per-Inch) the better the print quality.BestBest defines the highest possible resolution:192 DPI horizontally and vertically NormalNormal defines normal resolution:192 DPI horizontally and 96 DPI vertically. Pulldown MenuPulldown menus display a list of items that you can choose. To display the options of a Pulldown menu, move the cursor to the box and click and hold the button on the mouse. To select one of the options in a Pulldown menu continue to hold the button on your mouse and move the cursor over the desired option, then release the button.FastFast defines the resolution, quality is lower.DraftDraft defines the fastest method of printing. This mode is intended for text only output (e.g., screen dump). The printer prints the document text using the printer's internal fonts and graphics aren't printed. Copies specifies the number of copies that will be printed, select 1-to-99 copies.PagesSpecifies which pages of your file to print.AllPrints all pages of the file.FromPrints only the pages specified in the From: and To: boxes to the right of this button. Once this is selected, enter the pages number's into the From: and To boxes.Even and OddPrints both even and odd pages. When this button and the All button are selected, all pages of the will be printed. When this button and the From button are selected, all of the pages within the range you specify are printed.EvenPrints only even pages from the file. When this button and the All button are selected, only even pages of the entire files are printed. When this button and From button are selected only the even pages within the specified page range are printed.OddPrints only odd pages from the file. When this button and the All button are selected, only odd pages of the entire files are printed. When this button and From button are selected only the odd pages within the specified page range are printed.Print OrderSpecifies the sequence of the pages when printing.Front to BackPrints from the first page to the last page of a file.Back to FrontPrints from the last page to the first page (reverse order) of a file.Cover PageCover Page specifies whether or not a cover page will be printed with the file. Cover page contains information about the file being printed such as the application name and the file name.NoNo cover page will be printed.First PageThe cover page will be the first page printed.Last PageThe cover page will be the last page printed.Paper FeedPaper feed indicates the type of paper loaded in the printer. The driver will pause between pages and request that another page be fed.Don't Force Out PagesWhen the printer reaches the end of a page It will not send any form feeds (meaning it will not reach the end of a page and then ejects that sheet). This is useful for printing short forms such as checks.Note: The No Gaps between pages option on the Page Setup menu must be selected in order to use this option.
