A recent example of a short-form television drama is the mini-series The Hospital, which is billed as a ghost story with a twist by production company Yoho Film.

The Hospital is a complex mixture of imagination versus reality. It is about a group of people who are sent to a hospital after an accident, only to meet up with already-dead patients begging for their help,” explained seasoned director Bandit Thongdee, who is well known for his many works in the ghost genre in Thai cinemas. “A hospital has a scary connotation to it. It is a sometimes dark and dreary place where people come to die or are dying.
