The Runner Sets the Pace

So said former US President Richard Nixon. Nixon’s quote immediately sets the pace of TVC Director, Nick Robertson’s debut short film, The Runner.

Varying perspectives

Written and directed by Robertson, the 13 minute short drama builds upon the idea of profound change resulting from personal crisis and was inspired by the phenomenon of missing persons. "I wanted to question what happens when you look at a moment in time from varying perspectives," Robertson explains. "Most missing persons leave unannounced and of their own accord, a fact that presents really interesting questions about them, and the people close to them." Read More
