The Eastman Scholarship Program is an annual competition whereby film schools throughout the United States and Canada offering a BA, BS, MS, MA, or MFA in film may nominate two students who demonstrate superior abilities in filmmaking for a tuition scholarship from Kodak and the University Film and Video Foundation. This year's First Place Scholarship is $12,000 and Second Place is $8,000.
A Blue Panel Jury consisting of a Cinematographer, Industry Executive, Film Professor, and Independent Filmmaker judge the technical and creative aspects of films submitted, such as directing, writing, editing, acting, sound design, and especially cinematography.
