Download Scripts from Kodak

Kodak starts you off with a number of pre-loaded scripts to help you get acquainted with using scripts on your DC220, DC260, DC265 and DC290 Zoom Cameras. You can view the source code here, or download the scripts in convenient archives for use with your camera.

To download these scripts, click on the appropriate link for your camera and system (Note: the script files themselves are the same for each system type. They are packaged differently for download convenience):

Once you've downloaded a script follow these steps to install them:

  1. Extract the scripts to your computer hard drive. The extraction process will create a folder named "System".
  2. Open your COMPACTFLASH Card. You can use a card reader, or (with Windows systems) the Mounter software included on the DC220/DC260/DC265/DC290 CD.
  3. If there is no System folder on the card, copy the entire folder named "System" from your hard drive to the card.
If a System folder already exists, copy the script files (*.csm) to the existing folder.
  4. Remove and re-insert the COMPACTFLASH Card in the camera. The new script will appear in the menu system. (You can also power-cycle the camera, but that takes longer.)

If you're looking for other scripts there are a number of good resources across the web.
