Scripting: Taking digital imaging to the next level ....
The KODAK DC220, DC260, DC265 and DC290 Zoom Digital Cameras are the first Kodak
Digital Cameras to offer sophisticated, and novice users alike, the power of scripting.
Scripting gives you the opportunity to turn complex digital imaging tasks into
selectable menu options that can be executed in just a few simple steps. Or, you
can choose to take the routine out of repetitive tasks by capturing
each step into a script that can be played over and over again. Scripts can be
developed for capture, review or post-processing and application-related tasks.

Capture Scripts-scripts can perform automatic functions,
like bracketing multiple shots for each image. Or they may be used to walk a
novice user through a routine, prompting them to capture a picture of the front,
the back and a special feature for their house listing.
Post-processing scripts-these scripts can be used to automatically place
images in specified albums or walk a novice user through the process of adding audio captions
or watermarks to their pictures.
Application-specific scripts, integrated with application software,
scripts can automatically place a series of pre-specified pictures in the correct
place in document template.

Getting started-Kodak has pre-programmed your camera with a
number of useful scripts, including:
- Bracketing-programs the camera to automatically
capture the same image several times, at different exposures. This
ensures the perfect exposure EVERY TIME.
- Watermarking-automatically adds date, time, or
specific text to your images. DC260 and DC265 scripts also offer additional
graphic or logo watermarking options.
- One More Picture-automatically calculates the
picture quality and compression settings to allow you to fit one more
image on your KODAK Picture Card.
- If, Then What?-take along your own photo expert every time you shoot.
This script walks you through a series of questions to pinpoint and help you correct
typical imaging mistakes.
