If your pictures turn out blurry, it's possible that you weren't holding the camera steady enough while shooting. If you don't have a tripod handy, try holding your elbows close to your body and your camera close to your face while shooting. Make a conscious effort to remain as still as possible.

Pictures often turn out "soft" (poorly focused) when you're too close to your subject. This is especially common with one-time-use cameras -- with these, you need to be at least four feet away from your subject when shooting. Get to know what works best for your camera by practicing shooting at a variety of ranges. |
