Corinne and Melanie got into some fun stuff with a new play outfit. My picture had too many dreary household items in the background.

First I tried the basic approach of blurring the background. That helped. And I liked the halo effect.

Then I thought I'd play around a little. I painted in some spots with the airbrush tool set to white and pink. I scattered them around on the already blurred background.

Then I made a copy of that background, and blurred it using a radial blur filter (kind of a twirl effect).
....................
By blending the two layers (using a transparency setting) I got some spots and some twirl effect as a blend, which makes for a bewitching background for my two fairy princesses.
