The ski jumping venue in Park City is called Utah Olympic Park and is quite striking. Pictured here are the K90 and K120 jumps. Shuttle buses drive you from the parking lots to the venue. If you walk from the lots to the top, you are given a pin for making the long, steep trek. They call it the "Gold Medal Mile" and it is part of the "Healthier You in 2002" Salt Lake Olympic program. |

Pin-trading occurs at every venue. Two pins on this person's hat state: "I speak English" and "Jeg Snakker Norsk" (I speak Norwegian). Some of the staff and volunteers wear these pins to assist the visitors who come to the Games from all over the world. |
