This marble-and-stained-glass Art Car started life as a 1969 Volkswagen. Ron Dolce of Oakland, California, spent four years, six to eight hours a day, laying the stained glass. He also added approximately 10,000 glass marbles, to outline every feature of the car. The silicone glue alone weighs about 300 pounds! "After 18 years, the work is complete," Dolce proudly declares. "My wife, Debra, likes the car and rides in it. She thinks it's marble-ous!" (Ouch.)
