Kodak Ranked among the Top 20 Preferred Employers in Israel
A large-scale survey of employees at high-tech companies in Israel ranked Kodak IL among the 20 best companies to work for. Kodak joins Intel, Microsoft, IBM, SAP, Motorola, and Google in the top 20 group, surpassing other global high-tech companies such as Texas Instruments, CA, Nokia-Siemens, ECI, SanDisk, and Orbotech. The high ranking is a tremendous accomplishment for Kodak IL, which until recently was not even perceived as a high-tech company.
Kodak is again on the list of "Best Places to Work for GLBT Equality."
Honorees were selected by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) - a civil rights organization working to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. Each of the 195 companies included on the 2008 list received a 100% score on HRC´s Corporate Equality Index, which measures policies and practices that promote fairness and equality in the workplace for GLBT employees. Kodak has received a perfect score every year since the Equality Index began in 2002.
Kodak Recognized as One of the Top 40 Employers in British Columbia
Kodak was recognized as one of the top 40 employers in BC by Mediacorp Canada Inc. Applicants were assigned grades for each of the following eight categories: physical quality of workplace; work atmosphere as a social setting; pay and benefits; vacation and provisions for time off; communication to employees; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. When compared to other companies in the same industry, Kodak ranked amongst the top 40 in the province.
