Meeting Tight Deadlines Gets Easier with Digital Photography

When he was just 13 years old, Tim Swoboda told his mother that he was going to become a professional photographer. He started shooting weddings professionally at the age of 16. Two years later, he launched a successful business taking portraits of his high school classmates. Then came jobs in a portrait studio and commercial lab before Swoboda launched his career as a photographer for the Herald Times Reporter in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

"I love photography. It's what I've always done," said Swoboda. About 15 years ago, he said he could see that photography was going to one-day go the way of digital. He's been watching the cameras gain functionality and resolution, while becoming more and more affordable.

"I've been doing a lot of research and found that the KODAK DC260 Camera had the highest resolution of any digital camera under $1,000. I fell in love with the quality, sharpness and resolution-the real 'pro' power of these cameras as well as the ease-of-use. I mean, you can pick up one of these cameras, just start shooting and get good results."
