As a computer buff and sound engineer for the Weidner Theater in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Brock Neverman wasn't a newcomer to technology. Still, he says, being an avid 35mm photographer just didn't prepare him for the thrill of digital capture.

"We do about 200 shows a year, everything from children's theater to Broadway. When I first started with my KODAK DC120 Camera, I used to take a lot of photos for our web page," he explained.

"For touring shows, I now use my DC260 to document set building. I take about 360 pictures and then turn them into an animated GIF. The road crews think it's the neatest thing to see their set built in just a minute and a half," he said.

Neverman also finds the DC260's scripting function very helpful. "I use the FAST CAPTURE script, developed by Steve Haehnichen, to take high resolution images as quickly as possible, until the camera runs out of batteries or memory." On his own time, he also uses this same script to take spectacular shots of lightning storms approaching his home overlooking Green Bay.
