The Kodak DC240 goes to Cannes

[Red Carpet]

When legendary Chicago Sun-Times critic Roger Ebert attended the Cannes Film Festival this past May, he was armed with a KODAK DC240 Zoom Digital Camera to chronicle his trip. Over the course of the week his pictures and commentary, hosted by AOL's Entertainment Asylum, provided a unique inside view of the world's biggest film festival.

The Festival
The Cannes International Film Festival is one of the most celebrated events in film. Every year, for a little over a week, filmmakers, actors, critics, studio execs, and thousands of fans all flock to the French Riviera to talk shop, make deals, or get a glimpse of their favorite star - and above all, celebrate the art of the cinema.

The Camera
Roger Ebert illustrated his Cannes experience with the help of the KODAK DC240 camera. The camera's compact size and light weight keeps it from being a drag during the long lines and movie screenings, and it's 1.3 Megapixel resolution provides high-quality images. Two thumbs up!
