Each picture is presented in a "web size" of 600 x 402 pixels, and in a high resolution size of 1792 x 1200 pixels. All the samples are stored in JPEG format. High resolution shots are unmodified camera originals -- with no software enhancements. We used Photoshop software to resample the smaller pictures, and did modest unsharp masking on the small-sized samples.

[Burst Modes] Burst mode allows you to take up to 16 pictures in quick succession, at regular intervals between 0.1 and 3 frames per second. This demonstration contains sample images that should help you understand how it works.
Resolution and Compression Comparison .............................
The DC290 offers several settings of image quality (compression) and resolution. Each combination of settings affects both the picture quality and the number of pictures that you can fit on a Picture Card.
