The KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE Scanner 3000 Series is hard to beat for
mid-range scanning productivity, offering exceptional reliability,
ease of use, affordability and now a choice of capabilities
|
|
The KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE Color Scanner 3590C breaks
the barriers of price and performance for color scanning. It scans
at up to 85 pages per minute in color (uniform letter size or A4
landscape format) with all the reliability and ease of use of the
other Scanner 3000 Series.
Scan it right first time with color
The big benefit of color scanning is how great the images look,
without the trial-and-error adjustments required by black-and-white
scanners. Color capture enables the Color Scanner 3590C to "see"
the whole page. Virtually all the information on the page can now
appear on your screen: highlighting, variations in text on background
densities and colors, handwritten annotations of every hue, routing
stamps, etc. There are no contrast compromises that can knock out
details. You'll also save time and labor by virtually eliminating
pre-sorting and re-scans. Color scanning file sizes are usually
not much larger than equivalent black-and-white files, so there's
no performance sacrifice when it comes to routing and storing color
files on your network.

Two reliable scanners in one
The Color Scanner 3590C features bi-chromodal imaging, a Kodak innovation.
Because most significant color data is on the front of documents,
it scans their fronts in color and the backs in black and white.
It can also be set to scan the fronts in black and white. Either
way, the industry-leading feeder and paper path of the Scanner 3000
Series virtually eliminate labor-intensive document pre-sorting,
jams, and re-scans. The feeder accepts and feeds batches of mixed
paper sizes and weights. It's easy to add more pages to a stack
while scanning for continuous feeding. The transport system moves
a document through a short path without sharp bends or constrictions
for non-stop scanning that's practically trouble-free.
Operator-friendly and compatible with systems and budgets
A single button is all you push to run the Color Scanner 3590C.
On-board processing maintains image quality automatically. Training
itself is fast and simple. The scanner comes with an interactive
CD, complete with video clips that instruct and help guide operators
through all scanner procedures. So operator turnover isn't a problem.
Industry-standard interfaces and drivers bundled with the Color
Scanner 3590C enable it to support a wide range of applications.
Best of all, the Color Scanner 3590C makes color available at a
very affordable price.
User-replaceable parts, such as lamps and feeder and transport rollers,
help keep the cost of ownership low, too, by minimizing downtime
and service calls. Plus, the Color Scanner 3590C is protected by
your choice of standard or enhanced warranties, and backed by worldwide
service and support from Kodak (where available).
